We saw the only 3 eland in Thornybush. About 15 eland were brought in from another reserve in March, by August, the lions had eaten all but three. - The eland were brought in from a reserve that didn't have lions, so they have no natural fear of lions. The lions figured this out quickly. - The eland is one of the largest antelope in Africa. Their horns grow in a spiral shape. -
